Welcome to the world of Bookie.
From as early as I can remember I loved to play with paper. My creations were anything from raffle tickets to folded up diaries. At Christmas I would make dozens of those folded snow stars for our windows. To my amazement, mom wasn’t as keen to keep all of them until the next festive season. And despite the mess, I sometimes created, she kept sending me to crafting camps and sparking my creativity with home projects.
My other favorite past-time was reading. So it’s actually no big surprise that Bookie was born. You could say it is my destiny. Bookie brings alive not only my passion for paper but also my love for beautiful patterns.
Unsere Geschichte
Herzlich Willkommen bei der Welt von Bookie.
So lange wie ich mich zurück erinnern kann habe ich es geliebt mit Papier zu basteln. Meine Kreationen reichten von Gewinnspielscheinen bis zu gefalteten Tagebüchern. Während der Weihnachtszeit habe ich dutzende gefaltete Schneesterne für unsere Fenster gemacht. Zu meiner Verwunderung wollte meine Mutter sie nicht bis zur nächsten Feierlichkeit höngen haben. Und abgesehen von der Unordnung die ich manchmal veranstaltet habe hat sie mich immer wieder zu Handwerkscamps geschickt um meine Kreativität immer weiter zu fördern.
Meine andere Lieblingsbeschäftigung war lesen. Es ist deswegen keine Überraschung, dass Bookie entstanden ist. Man könnte sagen es war mein Schicksal. Bookie erweckt aber nicht nur meine Leidenschaft für Papier sondern auch für tolle Muster zum leben.

Millie is our Bookie assistant. She’s a 3 year old border terrier and absolutely loves chicken!
Her favorite past time is laying in the garden and playing with foxy. She has inspired our notebook “Doggo”.
My products – Bookies – are all handmade by me. I use high quality bookbinding materials and design all the products myself. I make the journals for you to keep your thoughts in beautiful covers. And I make the jewellery to put a smile on every bibliophiles face!
